Select an MCM flexible stone direction by recording the exact product identity, visual target, wall context, sample and unanswered evidence questions.
This checklist supports early product selection. It does not confirm that every MCM item suits every wall, environment or jurisdiction. The current record for the selected JUZZI item, the project specification and the responsible project team remain the decision sources.
1. Name the material family and exact item
- Record that the selection is MCM flexible stone rather than natural stone veneer, PU stone or an unspecified “soft stone.”
- Add the JUZZI item, finish, color direction, format and sample reference when known.
- Ask which current product data and installation record belong to that exact item.
- Keep unknowns visible instead of filling them with category-level claims from another supplier.
2. Translate the design intent into review points

3. Make the sample traceable
A useful sample carries the same item reference used in the product discussion. Record its date, finish, format and supplier reference; photograph it in the intended light; and note which project participant reviewed it. A sample can support visual selection, but it does not by itself establish installed-system performance, destination compliance or long-term behavior.
4. Ask for only the evidence the decision requires
- Current product identity, format and finish information for the exact item.
- Available instructions relevant to the stated wall and application.
- Any project-required test, classification or declaration, named precisely rather than requested as “all certificates.”
- Document title, revision, scope and issuing entity so the reviewer can decide whether it applies.
- Open compatibility questions that must be answered by the designer, installer or fixing-material supplier.
5. Use a selection hold point
Do not convert a visual preference into a final project selection while the exact item is unidentified, the intended wall is unclear, the sample is untraceable, a required document is missing, or responsibility for installation compatibility has not been assigned. Mark the item “under review” and list the one question that must be closed next.
