Prepare a focused wall panel product-data request by separating product data, samples, project drawings, evidence and reviewer decisions.
“Send all documents” rarely tells a manufacturer what the project actually needs. This checklist helps architects, contractors and buyers define a proportionate request. It is not a project specification, a formal submittal schedule or a substitute for the responsible design professional’s review.
Start with the exact product and decision
- Name the JUZZI product or material family and the exact item, finish or sample reference when available.
- State the project, destination, intended wall and current stage.
- Identify the decision: initial selection, specification, sample approval, installation planning, procurement review or another defined task.
- List the requirement or question each requested item is meant to answer.
Separate the information types
| Information type | Useful request |
|---|---|
| Product data | Exact product identity, format, finish, intended scope and current manufacturer information relevant to the selection. |
| Instructions | The current document applicable to the selected item and stated wall or application. |
| Sample | A traceable physical reference for color, texture, relief, edge or joint review. |
| Project drawing | Elevation, layout, corners, openings, interfaces and dimensions prepared by the party responsible for the project-specific design. |
| Evidence | A named test, classification or declaration required by the project or destination, with the applicable scope checked. |
| Commercial record | Item, quantity context, destination and offer assumptions kept separate from technical acceptance. |
Check document identity before relying on a file
- Title, issuing organization and publication or revision date.
- Exact product, model, finish or system covered.
- Market, test method, classification and conditions where relevant.
- Pages or sections that answer the project question.
- Differences between the proposed item and the item described in the document.
- Named reviewer and disposition: accepted, accepted with comments, revise, or not applicable.
Do not turn manufacturer data into project design
Manufacturer product information describes an item; project drawings and specifications define project requirements; contractor documents may show a proposed layout or method; and samples establish a physical visual reference. Keep those roles distinct. An available file should not be represented as approval for a wall, fixing system or jurisdiction unless the responsible reviewer has confirmed that scope.
Use a short request register
For each requested item, record the request date, product reference, purpose, required timing, sender, document title or sample ID, revision, reviewer, response and open action. This prevents an old or unrelated attachment from becoming the project reference merely because it remains in an email thread.
What to send JUZZI
Send the selected product or material family, destination country, project stage, intended wall and a short list of named documents or questions. If a specification clause is driving the request, include the relevant requirement and ask which current JUZZI information is available for review.
