Plan the wall, product record, layout, junctions and evidence questions before an MCM flexible stone installation method is selected.
This is a pre-installation planning checklist, not a universal installation instruction. Adhesive, fixing, cutting, joint, environmental and safety requirements must come from the current record for the exact JUZZI item, the project design and the responsible installer or specialist.
1. Identify the exact product before discussing installation
- Record the product or model reference, finish, color direction and sample reference.
- Confirm the supplied format, nominal dimensions, edge condition and any variation that affects layout.
- Ask which current product record and installation document apply to that exact item.
- Record the document title, revision or issue date and the person who confirmed it.
Do not transfer an adhesive, fixing method, tool or curing time from another flexible-stone product merely because the category name looks similar.
2. Describe the wall and its conditions

3. Assign the compatibility decisions
The product, substrate and fixing materials form one installation system. Before work begins, name who will confirm substrate acceptance, compatible preparation, adhesive or mechanical fixing, joint and sealant choices, environmental limits, safe cutting and handling, and any required trial area.
- Manufacturer question: Which current document applies to the selected item?
- Designer question: What visual, junction and performance requirements must the completed wall satisfy?
- Installer question: What site checks and method statement are required before starting?
- Material supplier question: Is the proposed preparation or fixing material suitable for both the substrate and selected panel under the stated conditions?
4. Resolve layout and junctions before cutting
- Agree the visual orientation, reference lines and distribution of finish variation.
- Plan sheet or panel boundaries, corners, exposed edges, openings and transitions.
- Decide how the project will record approved sample and mock-up references.
- Check how tolerances and site dimensions affect the first and last pieces.
- Record the acceptance point before repeated cutting or fixing begins.
5. Use hold points instead of assumptions
Pause the installation decision if the exact item is not identified, the wall is not accepted, the current instruction is unavailable, the proposed fixing system has no named compatibility owner, the junction detail is unresolved, or site conditions fall outside the confirmed method. Record the open question and the person responsible for closing it.
